Bixby School, Boulder CO – The design concept for the theatre developed primarily out of the energy that was witnessed after spending some time with the kids in one of the playgrounds. The seating area was designed to be a play area while still providing basic seating. Various aspects of the playgrounds and the organic language of their construction were used as inspiration for the stage aesthetic. Construction completed October 2009
